article talks about converting an old PC to a Win XP terminal services client. What if you could take a bunch of old machines, run them off WinXP on a
Soekris and then have the Soekris exchange data with buses passing by? I think you would be able to set up an email kiosk on the cheap. Especially if slow-speed browsing could be done on a phone line or 2G Cell phone (CDMA) and large download could be done by bus or train.
