1. TESSERA Foundation Model project
   • Improving Barlow-Twin representation quality (with Frank Feng and Sadiq Jaffer)
   • Change detection (with Jovana Knezevic and David Coomes)
   • Estimating the impact of small field size on crop representations (with Madeleine Lisaius, Clement Atzberger (dClimate Labs) and Andrew Blake (Mantle Labs))
   • Using Barlow-Twin representations to study fungal biodiversity (with Robin Young and SPUN)
2. Environment and conservation
   • Estimating forest structure using UAV-based monocular vision (with Yihang She, David Coomes, and Andrew Blake)
   • Quantifying carbon sequestration in regrowing forests in the Brazilian Atlantic (with Felipe Begliomini and David Coomes)
   • Identifying old growth forests in the Carpathians (with Tom Ratsakatika and Emily Lines)
   • Evaluating the effectiveness of policy mixes in reducing deforestation at the jurisdiction level (with Jakob Poffley and Rachael Garrett)
3. Extreme weather impact and mitigation
   • Studying the impact of extreme weather on the transmission grid (with Enming Liang and Minghua Chen (both CityU HK))
   • Creating spatially-explicit maps of extreme weather impact on building occupants (with Andrea Domiter)
